Assist the Director of FACETS in enhancing the overall Resident experience through the provision of exceptional implementation of the FACETS program, providing the residents opportunities for participation in all facets of community life. This multi-generational approach to daily life for our resident's encompasses a rich variety of activities, life enrichment and holistic wellness. This is to be handled in The Sterling Touch friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner, resulting in a very high level of Resident satisfaction. This position is under the general guidance of the Director of FACETS, in accordance with Community standards, processes, procedures, practices and philosophy.


      Essential Functions:

  • Participate in Start Sterling! line up every shift.
  • Greet the Residents, guests, fellow employees and vendors in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Assist with leading various offerings of the complete FACETS program as assigned, to ensure dynamic, creative and exciting opportunities for the residents.
  • Support the promotion of ongoing participation of assorted offerings including but not limited to distribution of monthly calendars, and personal ongoing interactions with residents.
  • Assist with the coordination of the transportation of residents to and from events outside of the community, which may include driving a community motor vehicle.
  • Work closely with FACETS Director, sales and marketing, health and wellness, heart of the house, and dining services to ensure activities and events are well attended and provide exceptional experiences for the residents and their guests.
  • Prepare personalized notes and periodic reports to director to document well-being plans for each resident and changes in condition.
  • Support the Director of FACETS in the recruiting and training of groups of volunteers for assistance in various FACETS programs.

Due to resident expectations and both planned and unplanned events/occurrences, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business and service needs of the Community. Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

 Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Grand Living's standards, procedures and processes, including all government and industry regulations, for the safe and efficient operation of the Community. 


Supportive Functions:

 In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the Community:

  •  Perform other duties as requested, such as, moving supplies and equipment, cleaning up spills, etc.



 The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities: 

  • Ability to read, write and understand the English language in order to communicates with the residents and other employees.  
  •  Our FACETS program incorporates a variety of activities including theater, art, music, fitness, education, event planning and recreation. The ideal candidate must be willing and able to participate in the execution of a well-rounded, refined program which meets the needs and expectations of our educated, talented, sophisticated residents. Please be prepared to share your ideas on how to build a wellness centered program for our residents.
  • Must have an outgoing and engaging personality, a comfort level interacting with seniors and the ability to learn and practice customer service      



  •  High school diploma or GED

Licenses or certificates:

  • Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate.
